Turkey Giveaway Volunteer Details

Thank you for signing up to serve at our Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway!
We’re excited to have you with us. Please review these important details before arriving:

🦃 What to Wear

  • We’ll be moving fast and a lot — please wear comfortable shoes.

  • If you have a Love Our City or Live Generous T-shirt, wear it!

  • If not, no worries — just wear something comfy. We’ll provide you with a volunteer name badge.

🚗 Parking

  • Please park behind Jerk Hut on the side of the building.

  • The main parking lot will be used for the drive-thru.

👶 Children / Childcare

  • We do not have childcare, and there will be lots of movement and activity.

  • Keep this in mind when deciding whether to bring little ones to volunteer.

⏰ Arrival Time

  • Volunteer check-in is listed as 5:30 PM, but if you can come earlier — please do!

  • We’ll already be on-site and getting things started.

🍽️ Food / Restrooms

  • Make sure to eat beforehand, as we’ll be working outside the entire time.

  • The inside of the building will only be open for restroom use (volunteers only).
