We are excited that you’ll be serving with us for our Back2School Shoe Giveaway! Here are some important details to help you prepare:
Attached Schedule: You will find the full schedule for the day, including the 3 volunteer shifts we previously communicated and their respective times.
Serving Position & Leader: Next to your name on the schedule, you will see your assigned serving position as well as the name of your team leader.
Volunteer Reminders – Back2School Shoe Giveaway
Shirts: If you have a Love Our City shirt, we encourage you to wear it (any color). If not, please wear a plain black or red shirt.
Personal Items: Please leave backpacks, purses, or other personal items locked in your trunk. We will be moving quickly and serving many families. There is no space to store belongings.
Breakfast: A light breakfast will be served Sunday for volunteers from 8:00 AM – 8:45am & 9:45am-10:30am in the Activate Room.
Child Check-In: Please allow extra time to check in your children before your serving time, as there may be long lines.
Questions when you arrive: If you are unsure where to go when you arrive please see Monique @ The Main Cafe Counters
Departments like Parking and Kids Ministry are typically short-staffed on big Sundays. If you’re available to serve in those areas instead, we’d greatly appreciate your flexibility in helping where it’s most needed!
